Battery Charging System

Quick charging nickel-hydride batteries are available for this equipment.  To charge a receiver or a transmitter simply requires slipping the unit out of its P-1 carrying pouch and inserting headfirst into the charger case (no need to remove the battery!).  Each charger case holds up to 10 receivers or transmitters (any combination) and will provide a 100% charge in one hour.  Nickel-hydride batteries do not attain a memory (like nickel-cadmium batteries do) and can be recharged thousands of times.
